The most popular seasoning is a mild fish sauce which differs Thailand from the rest of Asian countries where soy sauce is predominantly used. Another peculiarity of Thai cuisine is the wide use of products of the coconut tree. To fry food Thais use coconut oil, milk products are replaced with coconut milk and coconut cream (the layer formed in the upper part of the coconut, the thickest fraction of the milk).
