American cuisine (the cuisine of the USA) reflects the mentality of the whole American nation and is characterised by rationality, standard and mass character. The food eaten by Americans has often been the object of mockery and criticism.
Jewish cuisine

Jewish cuisine is one of the examples how a national cuisine can be formed predominantly on the basis of religious laws concerning food, although it has also been influenced by other national cuisines of those countries where the Jewish people have lived. Among such national cuisines are Arab, Balkan, German, Ukrainian, Spanish and some others. Thus, the Jewish cuisine has acquired everything useful and unique that existed in those cultures and in a way has become an international cuisine. That's why many people around the world and not only Jews enjoy Jewish dishes very much. Every Jewish cook knows that any product must be used to the maximum. The main rule says: with the little amount of products you have to be able to cook as much food as possible! In general the Jewish cuisine is not 'choosy', and any recipe can be perceived as a general instruction. One can use everything that is at hand. Of course, if your observe all Jewish traditions, including the religious ones, you will have to stay at the oven a little longer on Friday as Saturday is the day when all Jews are not supposed to do any work, including cooking.
Kashrut is the Jewish set of rules concerning food, rules of determination of foodstuffs that's allowed for consumption, their compatibility and some peculiarities of their culinary processing. For example, the following is forbidden for consumption: blood (the meet must be without blood as it symbolises life), milk and meat together, carrion, gnawing animals, insects, reptiles, amphibians, caviar, etc.
In general, Spanish meals are plain, but due to the spices like saffron they are rich with delicate taste. As a special flavouring for soups and salads olive oil is used. It is considered to be the most useful of all oils for the human organism.
Indian cuisine is one of the oldest, the richest and the most diverse cuisines in the world. An Indian meal usually consists of snacks, for example salads, then main course, pastas and bakery called chapati, which is eaten with vegetables and rice.
